Ten books with censorship (2013.)
“Ten books with censorship” is a 2013 series of paintings which consists of 10 oils on paper in combination with acrylic on glass. Work was inspired by “The ten books on architecture” by Marcus Vitruvius Polio. the titles of the paintings are sentences and parts of sentences from the mentioned book. In this work I try to create the controversial atmosphere which results from the collision of learned knowledge about painting and the experience of painting practice.
